About Us

What do you call a place where good friends, old and new, ask how your mom is doing? Where history as deep as Texas itself dances politely with progress? Where the aroma of strong coffee, smokey barbecue, and just-baked muffins drift amid ancients oaks standing guard over the site where Sam Houston was sworn in as the first president of Texas? What do you call a place where the meandering Brazos River, old as time itself, is your neighbor and folks you just met are your friends? A place where fun murals revive the sides of building and boutiques, where shops and cafes line streets that have been there since Texas began? What do you call a place where the word ’home’ means a heck of a lot more than just a house?

You call that place West Columbia.
